The developer behind the Falcon Pro Twitter app has created a new offline reader Android application – Flyne – which is available for download from the Play Store.

Flyne is an offline reader app that’s based on Twitter lists and Feedly categories, which it uses to pull up stories from. The application “fetches full articles from Twitter for offline viewing,” displaying them in a “clean, mobile friendly format,” without actually requiring you to go to any website to read the entire articles.

Here’s how navigation works inside Flyne:

  • Drag the left edge to access all your feeds.

  • Drag the right edge quickly to access any article within a feed.

  • Swipe left or right to flick through articles, like a magazine.

The app doesn’t require any logins – at least the free version – but you don’t get to customize your feeds either. In order to do that, and to be able to login using your Twitter and/or Feedly accounts, you’ll have to get the in-app purchases that unlock these features.

The app requires Android 4.0 or later to run, 1.7MB of storage, and currently has a 3.7 star rating out of almost 400 reviews.

Have you tried Flyne yet? What do you think of it?
